# First Steps

This Section describes the first use of the application and which configuration could be set.

## Start

When the app will be started the first time, the user has to login to execute assignments on the cloud server.

On the first start, the url is empty and needs to be set from the user.

## Settings

After the installation the default value for a **connection timeout** is set to **30 seconds**.
